Venbolhu Maalan
GA. Bihureha, Maldives
Venbolhu Maalan is a traditional community hall on Bihureha, designed in collaboration with the Gemanafushi Arts Club as a space for gatherings, performances and cultural events. The building draws on vernacular Maldivian architecture, with a pitched timber roof, open sides for natural ventilation and simple local materials that can be maintained by the community.
