Muliaage

Male City, Maldives

Muliaage, built in the early twentieth century as the residence for the heir to the throne, later became the official residence of the President of the Maldives. This restoration project renewed the building's colonial-era facades, timber verandas and gardens. Careful research into original drawings and photographs guided the work, ensuring that new interventions respected the building's historic significance.
